ACelli Group is supplying end-of-line equipment for the SPL11 line at AkinalTekstil's Gaziantep plant in Turkey. The new line is dedicated to the production of cotton spunlace nonwovens and composites in quantities ranging from 30 to 350 g/m2, with a width of 3,200 mm and a speed of 200 m/min.
ACelli Group delivered and installed several machines: a Stream winder, a Rapid offline slitter rewinder, a Combi with a lifting device for the handling of the mother rolls between the two machines, and a spool extraction system.
Over the past two years, AkinalTekstil and ACelli have worked together to start up five production lines, including a spun-melt wet-web nonwovens line for composite disposable flushable wipes, a diaper backsheet laminating line, and diaper topsheet and elastic film lamination spunlace nonwoven production lines.
